Marketing Coordinator

To meet the company’s marketing growth plans, this role will provide much needed coordinative support and proactive organisation within the wider marketing team. You will help track the progress of projects, campaigns and communications, as well as take an active role in the organisation of in-person and online events that the company participates in.

We are looking for an organised and thorough individual who is looking to grow their marketing experience and skills base. This role will combine elements of administration, project management and marketing to support the company as it continues to expand its global brand presence.

Responsibilities

Events (in-person and online/virtual)

  • Oversee the marketing events calendar and event-based budgets
  • Proactive coordination of event-based marketing campaigns and promotions
  • Complete administrative tasks relevant to registering and sponsorship of events and conferences
  • Organise shipping of goods and printing of literature & items for events
  • Pre and post-event briefings
  • Support personnel administration for in-person events, e.g. travel and accommodation
  • Action the follow-up of leads from events and entry into company databases

General marketing

  • Maintain the Mailchimp/Salesforce CRM databases – keeping them up-to-date and GDPR compliant
  • Support the marketing team in general communications enquiries
  • Monitor the company’s website enquiries
  • Work with external suppliers for various marketing support

Digital/website

  • Maintain the company’s marketing toolkit (digital asset management) for internal staff and stakeholders
  • Assist in the maintenance of the company’s external press kits
  • Undertake relevant project tasks related to email marketing and segmentation of audience lists
  • Monitor the company’s email newsletter subscription list
  • Assist in SEO-based website projects – e.g. reviewing content
  • Assist in the organisation of the company’s online video library and video channels
  • Monitor social media mentions

Requirements

  • Preferably at least 1-2 years’ experience in a marketing or transferrable role
  • Excellent written and verbal communication (internally and externally)
  • Attention to accuracy and detail
  • Organised and methodical approach to workload and able to work to deadlines
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Willingness to learn and adopt a proactive approach to self-education
  • Able to work on own initiative and as a team player
  • The ability to understand technical product information

Desirable experience

  • CIM qualification or Degree
  • Experience working in a B2B organisation – technology, medical, healthcare, pharmaceuticals
  • Experience of using Trello or other project management/to-do based tools
  • Experience using Salesforce CRM and Mailchimp for email marketing
