#MagTeamChallenge raises over $25,000 for patient education resources

Back in October, we set the #MagTeam an ambitious challenge – help us complete the equivalent distance of one lap of the world (25,000 miles), by running, walking and cycling during Breast Cancer Awareness Month.
In return, Endomag promised to donate $1 for every mile completed to be shared between two fantastic patient-focused charities, the ASBrS Foundation and the Lymphatic Education and Research Network (LE&RN).
Thanks to the tremendous efforts of over 400 physicians, hospital technicians, patients and our own Endomag team, we’re pleased to say that we hit our target – completing a mammoth total of 28,968 miles!

Members of the #MagTeam from 15 countries on four continents shared their experiences across social media, encouraging friends, family and even a few four-legged friends to join them.
While this has been an incredible team effort, a special mention must go out to the Buckinghamshire Breast Unit. Led by Dr Fiona Tsang-Wright, the UK-based team brought together a huge mini-team of 60 members to help tackle the challenge and spur each other on.

By completing the full lap of the world, $25,000 has now been donated to the ASBrS Foundation and LE&RN, funds that will support them in continuing to develop world-class patient programs and resources.

We’d like to say a huge thank you to everyone who took part or supported the #MagTeam through this challenge – we couldn’t have done it without you. We hope you’ll join us for the next challenge in 2022!
Finally, while Breast Cancer Awareness Month may be over for another year, we assure you we won't be stopping here. We promise to maintain our year-round commitment to ensuring better cancer care and treatment information is available to all patients, in hospitals around the world.
